Privacy Policy

FLDMRK collects the minimum needed to run a GPS-verified airport card collecting app. We use your location only at the moment you check in to collect a card, not to track you in the background. We do not sell your personal information. We do not upload your photos for sharing; shareable images are built on your device. You can delete your account and data.

1. Information we collect

Account information you give us: your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code; your username and display name; and optional profile details such as a bio, pilot certificates, avatar image, and profile ring choice.

Location, only at check-in: when you tap to collect a card, we read your device location, its accuracy, the fix time, and whether the operating system reports the location as simulated. We use this to verify you are at the eligible airport and to detect cheating. We do not collect your location in the background.

Collection and activity data: airports you collect, serial numbers, timestamps, scores, ranks, badges, friends and friend requests, and leaderboard standing.

Photos, on device only: if you create a photo share, the photo is read and composited on your device to export an image. We do not upload or store your photos on our servers for this feature.

Purchase information: if you buy Pro or other items, Apple processes payment. We receive confirmation of your entitlement from Apple. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.

Device and usage information: basic technical data needed to operate and secure the App, such as app version, coarse diagnostics, and anti-abuse signals.

2. How we use information

• To create and run your account and let you sign in.
• To verify check-ins, assign serial numbers, score, award badges, and keep the registry fair.
• To show your collection, passport, friends, and leaderboard.
• To process Pro access with Apple.
• To respond to support requests and to secure, debug, and improve the App, and to comply with law.

We do not use your location for advertising and we do not sell your personal information.

3. How information is shared

• Service providers that process data on our behalf, including our backend, database, and authentication provider, the Apple App Store for sign-in and payments, and map providers.
• Other pilots: your username, profile, collection stats, rank, and friends-leaderboard standing may be visible to friends or, if your profile is public, to other users. You control profile visibility in Settings.
• Legal and safety: we may disclose information to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights and safety.
• Business transfer: if FLDMRK is sold or transfers assets, user information may be part of that transfer, subject to this Policy.

We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Location permission

You can grant or deny location access in your device settings. Denying it means you can still browse airports but cannot collect a card that requires GPS verification. You can change this at any time.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account in the App, under Settings. Some records may be retained as required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal reasons, and aggregate collection statistics may be retained.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

FLDMRK is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact support@fldmrk.app or use the in-app account controls. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notice in the App.
